Amazing seats

I was staying in Basking Ridge so I drove into Secaucus (Junction) and hopped onto the train to NY Penn Station. Parking was $22 for the afternoon and round trip on the train was $8. Secaucus is only one stop away from Penn Station so it took no time to get in, and out of the station and there were several trains that took you stopped in both directions so it you didn’t have to wait long for a train if you missed one. If you are looking for something particular, as I was, and you cannot find it in the main MSG store when you walk in make sure to hit up the other stores and stalls around the Garden.. you just might find it because I found everything I was looking for and more. I was told downstairs that they were long sold out the Mats Zuccarello pucks and I found them (many of them) at the MSG Store in the 100 section along with many other items that I had not seen elsewhere (3 flights up - located as you get off the elevator to the right). I sat in Section 119, Row 3, Seat 7 for the Penguins vs Rangers game (12.8.14) and could not ask for a better seat!! I enjoyed sitting here more than sitting on the glass because you are up higher and back 2 rows so you can really see the plays happening and there is nobody in front of you (This is located on the same side as the penalty box so you could see the bench. There is a row on the glass below but seat is on the first row on the riser at the end. It had a great view of Henrik for 2 periods and many face-offs.) The atmosphere at the Garden was a bit toned down compared to the last time I was there, Stanley Cups Finals Games 3 and 4, but it was still energized and more exciting than most arenas. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within in the Garden. It is expensive. If you don’t want to pay the price, eat beforehand. There are a lot of places around the Garden to do this that Rangers fans gather ahead of time. I personally would rather be there for pregame skate.

Ticketmaster issues

Rangers Game was great, but had issues with Ticketmaster customer service My December 2021 game with the Canadiens was cancelled due to Covid at last minute I couldn’t make rescheduled game 4/27 due to schedule conflict Had major issues contacting someone to talk to a Ticketmaster to schedule a different game I could attend. Ticketmaster customer service relies to heavily on FAQ. They should have a published phone number to contact a real live person to resolve unique issues that can’t be resolved by a FAQ. In the end, they told me to go to Will Call window and resolve. I never really knew if we were going to get into the game or not until 15 minutes before the game

Rangers Game 6

I had taken my son for his first Rangers game and on top of that a playoff game and it couldn’t have been a better experience for both of us. Entering the Garden was fairly painless besides my belt buckle which I knew I should’ve just taken off from the start and then our section 225 row 4 were outstanding!!! The game itself was excellent and altogether could not have asked for a better experience and the only thing that could’ve made it perfect was if Mother Nature gave us a better night and completely out of the hands of the Garden and if so it would have been perfect
